After days of working at my desk, without much exe After days of working at my desk, without much exercise, I decided to go for a walk in nature at the Whittier Narrows Nature Center in El Monte, CA. The weather was nice, about 68 degrees at this time in the morning. It was one of those days that as long as there was a breeze, and you kept moving, you stayed cool, but linger too long and the sun would get pretty warm. Not that great for me, but perfect weather for these reptiles that were sunning themselves on the posts along the road. It has always been a challenge to get lizards’ heads in focus. It was a cool, windy day at the pier in Huntington It was a cool, windy day at the pier in Huntington Beach when we stumbled upon a group of pigeons wandering this way and that. Some took flight, others just walked away, then there was this one. He just sat there shivering. Occasionally, he would open his eyes and look up at me as if to acknowledge my presence, but that he wasn’t gonna move, it was just too cold.
